This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the essential workflow in RAIA Contract, from setting up your account to reviewing your first AI-redlined document. By following these steps, you will gain a practical understanding of the platform's core functionality.
Step 1: Account Setup
Your journey with RAIA Contract begins with creating a secure account.
Navigate to the Signup Page: Open your web browser and go to the RAIA Contract signup page.
Register Your Account: Complete the registration form with your details. You will receive an email to confirm your account.
Confirm Your Email: Click the confirmation link in the email to verify your account and log in for the first time.
Step 2: Configure Your First AI Agent
AI Agents are the core of the review process. Before you can analyze a document, you need to configure at least one agent.
Go to Settings: After logging in, navigate to the Settings section from the main dashboard menu.
Select the Agents Tab: Within Settings, find and open the Agents tab.
Create a New Agent: Click "Create Agent" and provide the necessary details, including a descriptive name and the API key for the AI service you are using. You can also set this agent as the default for all new documents.
Step 3: Upload Your First Document
With an agent configured, you are ready to upload your first contract for review.
Navigate to the Dashboard: From the main menu, go to your dashboard.
Start a New Document: Click the "New Document" button. This will take you to the document upload page.
Upload Your File: You can either drag and drop your contract file (e.g., a .docx or .pdf) into the upload area or click to browse your computer.
Initial Processing: The platform will ingest the file and prepare it for review.
Step 4: Initiate the AI Review
Once the document is uploaded, you can send it to your AI agent for analysis and redlining.
Select an Agent: On the document view page, select the AI agent you configured in Step 2 from the dropdown menu.
Start the Review: Click the "Start Review" or "Process" button. The document will be sent to the agent, and its status will change to "Processing."
Wait for Completion: The AI review is an asynchronous process. You will receive a notification once the redlined version is ready. The document status will update to "Completed."
Step 5: Review the Redlined Document
This is where you see the power of RAIA Contract in action.
Open the Document: From the dashboard, click on the completed document to open the review interface.
Compare Versions: You will see a side-by-side view of the Original Document and the Redlined Version with all AI-generated changes clearly marked.
Inspect Changes: Scroll through the document to review the tracked changes (additions and deletions). You can click on individual changes to see more details.
Accept or Reject: Use the editor tools to accept or reject the AI's suggestions, giving you full control over the final text.
Step 6: Export the Final Document
After you have completed your review and are satisfied with the final text, you can export the document for sharing or execution.
Open the Export Menu: Find the "Export" button, typically located in the header of the document view.
Choose a Format: Select your desired export format, such as PDF or Microsoft Word (.docx).
Download the File: The platform will generate the final document and download it to your computer.
By completing these steps, you have successfully processed your first contract with RAIA Contract. You are now ready to explore the platform's more advanced features, such as team collaboration, version history, and document tagging, to further enhance your contract management workflow.
