Academy is an application built to help manage and transform documents used for training AI Agents.

What does Academy do?

Academy is a dedicated raia application that streamlines AI agent training by turning everyday business content—like PDFs, Word docs, slide decks, or web pages—into AI-ready formatsgitbook-raia-manual. It automatically extracts, cleans, and structures information, lets you annotate and organize it, then pushes it directly into any agent’s vector store for immediate use. This removes the manual, error-prone prep work, enabling non-technical users to rapidly update and scale their agentic workforce.

How does it work?

Academy works by automating the process of converting unstructured business content into structured, AI-ready training data for raia agents.

First, you upload content—this can be PDFs, Word or Google Docs, Excel sheets, or URLs. Academy automatically extracts both the text and its structure (headings, sections, lists).

Next, it converts the content into clean, structured Markdown or JSON, splitting it into knowledge chunks optimized for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). During this step, layout artifacts are removed, and formatting inconsistencies are normalized.

You can then organize and annotate the data by labeling sections, adding document categories, or applying metadata. This helps ensure the agent indexes and retrieves the information effectively.

Finally, with one click, you push the processed data directly to the Vector Store of any raia AI Agent. This supports version control, batch uploads, and agent-specific training packs, so updates are instantly reflected in the agent’s capabilities.

By integrating in real time with Launch Pad and Copilot, Academy ensures new or updated training materials immediately improve agent performance. Role-based access controls allow organizations to manage who can upload, edit, or deploy content.

The result is a faster, more accurate, and more scalable way to keep AI agents trained on current, relevant knowledge—without requiring technical skills or manual formatting.
