Jira

Import issues from a Jira Cloud project into a destination folder.

ImportMCP serverAuth: API token

How it works

Jira Cloud imports issues from a project using your Atlassian account email plus an API token, and can expose an MCP server for live issue queries.

01

Before you start

  • A Jira Cloud site
  • Browse Projects permission on the target project
02

What you need to make the connection

FieldWhere to get it
Site URLhttps://yourcompany.atlassian.net.
Account emailThe Atlassian account the token belongs to.
API tokenid.atlassian.com → Security → Create and manage API tokens.
Project keyThe short key shown in issue IDs, e.g. ENG in ENG-142.

Credentials are stored encrypted in raia Command and are never shown again after saving. Rotate them at the provider if they are exposed.

03

Setup steps

  1. 01

    Create an Atlassian API token.

  2. 02

In raia Command, open Settings → Connectors, find the connector, and click Connect.

  3. 03

Enter the site URL, email, token, and project key.

  4. 04

Optionally add a JQL filter to narrow the issues imported.

  5. 05

Choose the destination project folder, run the first import, then set a sync schedule. Every run is recorded in Sync History.
