Set up the GitBook Connector

The GitBook connector allows you to import pages from a GitBook organization and space into raia Command.

The setup requires a GitBook personal access token. After connecting, you can select the GitBook organization and space you want to import and choose the destination project folder in raia Command.

   Log in to raia Command.

   Open Connectors from the left-hand menu.

   Select GitBook.

   Stay on the Setup & Import tab.

The connection form requires a GitBook personal access token.

Sign in to GitBook using an account that can access the organization and spaces you want to import.

   Open Settings.

   Select Developer settings.

   Open Personal access tokens.

   Click Generate new token.

Depending on the GitBook interface, you may also see a Create a New API Token option.

Enter a recognizable name for the token, such as:

Click Create and copy the generated token.

Return to the GitBook connector in raia Command.

   Paste the personal access token into the GitBook API token field.

   Click Connect.

raia Command will verify the token and display the GitBook connection.

After the connection is created:

   Click New import.

2. 02

   Select the GitBook organization.

3. 03

   Select the GitBook space.

   Select the destination project in raia Command.

   Select the destination folder.

   Click Start import.

The import runs in the background. The time required depends on the number of pages in the selected GitBook space.

Confirm that:

   GitBook displays as connected.

2. 02

   The correct organization and space can be selected.

   The import starts successfully.

   The imported pages appear in the selected raia Command folder.
