How it works

The Web Search skill gives your agent access to the public internet, allowing it to search for real-time information, current events, or external data not contained in its internal knowledge base.

How to configure it

    Enable the Web Search skill in Launch Pad.

    Optionally enter the domains the agent is allowed (or denied) to search.

    Tell the agent in its Instructions when web search is appropriate (e.g., 'For current industry news, use Web Search').

Can I prevent searches on competitor sites?

Yes — domain restrictions explicitly allow or deny specific domains.

Does it read the entire webpage?

It retrieves the text content of pages returned by the search query. It does not execute JavaScript or interact with the page.
