The Five Applications Working Together
The raia platform is built around four core applications that work together as a unified system. A fifth application, raia Control, is available as an optional add-on for teams that want to run proactive outbound campaigns. (Note: raia Control and raia Connect are not covered in this training.)
The Four Core Applications
| Application | What It Does | When You Use It |
|---|---|---|
| raia CX | The core platform. Home base where your agents live, where you manage their skills, and where you control access permissions for your team. | Always. The foundation that connects everything else. |
| raia Command | Knowledge and data hub. Upload documents, train your agent's vector store, and connect external data sources like Google Drive or Zendesk. | When building or updating your agent's knowledge base. |
| raia Copilot | Human oversight tool. Monitor live conversations, test the agent, provide feedback, and take over a chat when a human is needed. | During testing, and every day once the agent is live. |
| raia Chat | Customer engagement layer. The live chat widget, SMS number, email inbox, and voice line your customers interact with. | When setting up how customers will reach the agent. |
raia CX — The Launch Pad
raia CX is the central hub where you build, configure, and manage your agents. The primary interface is called the Launch Pad, which contains seven tabs:
| Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Info | Agent name, description, avatar, and basic identity settings |
| Skills | Enable and configure communication channels, integrations, and capabilities |
| Train | Write system instructions and manage the Vector Store connection |
| Usage | Monitor token consumption, message counts, and cost tracking |
| Security | API keys, IP restrictions, security keys, and access controls |
| Launch | Deployment controls — embed code, channel activation, and go-live settings |
| Report | Conversation analytics, quality scores, and performance dashboards |
raia Command — Knowledge Management
raia Command handles document ingestion, Markdown conversion, vector embedding, and enterprise data governance. It provides project-based organization with folders, deep links, and access controls. Key capabilities:
- Queue up to 500 files at once via drag-and-drop (100 MB per file, 500 MB per ZIP)
- Automatic conversion of PDF, Word, and other formats to Markdown
- One-click upload to the agent's Vector Store
- Connectors that sync content from Zendesk, Google Drive, Salesforce, and GitHub
- MCP Server functionality to expose agents to external tools
raia Copilot — Human Oversight
Copilot provides an omnichannel view of all agent conversations across Live Chat, SMS, Email, and Voice in a single feed. Operators use Copilot to:
- Monitor conversations in real-time
- Look behind a reply with its Sources and model name buttons
- Execute human takeovers where supported; check what the end user sees on each surface or channel
- Provide feedback (thumbs up/down, comments, suggested replacements) that tell your team what to fix in the agent's instructions or documents
raia Chat — The Delivery Surface
raia Chat is the deployable interface that connects end-users to your agents. The primary surface is the embeddable Live Chat widget — a customizable web component embedded with a single JavaScript snippet. It supports:
- Text messaging and voice chat
- File uploads
- Pre-chat lead capture forms
- Full branding customization (colors, logos, welcome messages)
- Quick-reply suggestion buttons
raia API — The Integration Layer
The raia API is the programmatic interface that allows you to embed agent intelligence directly into your own applications. Full interactive documentation is available at https://api.raia2.com/api/external/docs.
