Settings and Security cover the reusable scaffolding of a workspace — folder templates, role templates, licensing — and the account controls that keep it safe: password policy, MFA, lockouts, and project-level action overrides.

Folder templates
Save a folder structure once in Settings and apply it during project creation. Create multiple templates for different project types, export them as JSON to share, and delete templates you no longer use.

Role templates
Reusable permission presets managed on the Security page's Roles tab, including whether invitees are notified automatically.

Account security
Passwords must be at least 12 characters. Two-factor authentication is available via TOTP authenticator apps or email OTP, and is required for Organization Owners and Admins. Repeated failed sign-ins temporarily lock the account, sign-up and sign-in are CAPTCHA-protected, and personal/consumer email domains cannot register or be invited.

Security overrides
Admins can disable specific actions — Download, Upload, Comment, Invite — at the project level using the global security overrides on the Security page.

License activation
Licenses are verified at the organization level and members inherit licensing from their org. Keys are stored as masked hints (••••1234); re-activating a license invalidates older invitations.

Profile and appearance
Update name, avatar, time zone (stored in IANA format), and email from Profile. Your profile is visible to other members of your organization and projects. Light or Dark mode is chosen here and saved in your browser.
