Command can export selected documents, folders, a complete Knowledge area, or an organization backup. Small downloads are prepared immediately; larger Markdown exports continue in the background so you can keep working.

Immediate and background exports
Download Markdown for selected files or a folder as a ZIP. Larger Knowledge exports — typically above about 200 files — are prepared in the background and split into numbered parts when needed. The app emails links when preparation finishes, and those links remain available for seven days.

Live progress and retry
A progress card follows the export across the app and shows its current phase, files processed, megabytes written, and estimated time remaining. If a job stalls or fails, use Try again from the card instead of rebuilding the selection.

Download history
The Downloads page lists recent exports with status, size, part count, and active download links. Use it to return to a completed export without finding the original email.

Organization backup
Organization Owners can request a Markdown backup covering every Knowledge area in its real folder structure, together with a manifest describing Knowledge areas, folders, and files. Original uploaded files are not included.

Verification and auditing
When two-factor verification for downloads is enabled, Command asks for the emailed code before issuing export links. Every download — including signed links, source ZIPs, Markdown ZIPs, and background exports — is recorded in the activity log.
Plan ahead
Download links expire after seven days. Keep Download history as your working queue, then store the finished export in your approved destination before its link expires.
